 Sevierville, TN – PFM angler Bill Lowen recently received the distinguished honor of becoming the first professional angler to have his own exclusive collector’s knife. The Buck Exclusive Bill Lowen Canoe with Bass Shield knife was made available through Smoky Mountain Knife Works. In conjunction with the knife release five lucky purchasers received a gold-plated knife entitling them to a Bill Lowen Signature Series All Pro rod paired with an Abu Garcia Revo STX reel. To promote the knife Bill was on the cover of the April 2010 SMKW catalog and will be making appearances at the Sevierville, TN location during 2010. Bill and his family also recently visited the Post Falls, ID headquarters and factory of Buck Knives. "My family had such a great time visiting with the Buck family. I learned a lot about the company and why they've been successful for over 100 years. At one point both Chuck and C.J. Buck were there with us in the factory building knives to meet demand," said Lowen. The Lowen knife sold out in just two days. |
